First of all, a package from DHL appeared. All the paperwork I've been waiting for from Simon and Schuster has arrived. So, I'll be sending Coventry out to kradical on Saturday. Want to give it just one more look over tomorrow night before e-mailing it out. It'll give him something to do while he's out gallivanting all over Europe (like he doesn't have enough other stuff to do).
Then, huzzah upon huzzah, I got an e-mail from John Tackett at Dragon*Con confirming my guest status for this year! Wooo hoo! (does his best Gene Kelly dance imitation) That takes a load off of my mind also. I have no clue yet whether I'll be on any panels or if I'll have a table in Artist's Alley again this year, they're still getting all that type of stuff straightened out, but I'll be keeping a close eye on their web site to see when they start posting stuff.
Have to remember to take my wheelie-cart in to work tomorrow. Don't know if we're actually moving to the new office tomorrow or next week, but it's just a matter of time. Might as well have everything ready to go.
Got in contact with Dayton Ward today. He'd sent me an e-mail while I was at San Diego and I finally got around to writing him back. Since I'm going to be in his neck of the woods in October for the Chiefs/Redskins game, I figure I might as well break bread with him one evening if we can coordinate it. Also, dropped my old college roommate a letter. Finally caught back up with him after 14 years. Too long, man, too long.
Speaking of writing, I finished Chapter 22 of Harbinger today, giving me 2103 words for the day. I guess there are good things about staying at home instead of going to work (although there's something about a paycheck that sounds good too).
Current Harbinger status:
