I received a letter from an old friend from college last night. I hadn't talked to her since . . . 1991? Gaaah! She saw my name in a CMSU Alumni newsletter, but it had an old e-mail address. Luckily, another friend of mine (one I hadn't seen since 1981 . . . re-gaaah!)found my web site and got my e-mail for her. She's trying to hook me up with some other friends that I haven't seen since college also. It's been fun reminising with someone who's known me since 1st Grade. And no, I'm not going to mention how long ago that was.
And, to my old room mate, you better drop me an e-mail and soon, big guy.
Let's just say, the internet does make the world a smaller place.
kradical sent me some information for Coventry late last night. I've been going over it to see if there are any additional changes I need to make to my story before submitting it. So far, I think I'm O.K., but I'm giving it a good going over just the same. wishweaver gave Coventry a scrub while I was at San Diego, but she didn't find any glaring errors, so now it's just a matter of getting all the paperwork taken care of.
Had a good session working on Harbinger tonight. Added another 1253 words tonight and seem to be moving away from my initial outline further and further as this particular arc of the story moves forward. Something tells me, Harbinger is going to go way over the goal of 125K and need some significant surgery to get it back down to the 100-125K range I was going for on this story. Damn characters, always finding new ways to make my life miserable.
