One more time

After some great feedback from one of my beta readers and wishweaver, I massaged my synopsis one last time, took a deep breath, composed a short and concise cover letter and pushed the send button. For better or worse, Childhood's Tears is out the door and en route to the U.K. publisher.

I may not make the cut this time either, but I know this is a stronger submission than the first one, just based on the feedback I received. It's tough to condense an entire concept into 750 words because you can't REALLY go into all the characterization and conflict you intend to bring into the story, the character's self-doubt and motivation get short-shifted also.

But in the end, all you can do is hit the send button.

Now, we wait.

Unfortunately, that's not something I'm good at.
