The schedule for Balticon has been finalized and it looks like Friday and Monday are free days for me. My current schedule looks like this:
5/28/2005 12:00 PM 1:00 PM Adams Beyond 'Pokemon' and 'Dragonball Z'
5/28/2005 1:00 PM 2:00 PM Adams Research: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
5/29/2005 12:00 PM 12:30 PM Jefferson Reading
5/29/2005 1:00 PM 2:00 PM Peale ANIME & MANGA: Influence in American SciFi and Fantasy
5/29/2005 2:00 PM 3:00 PM Peale The Highs and Lows of Translating the Book to Film
As you can see from the above schedule, I'm going to be very busy for short periods of time, and then have lots of time to wander around the convention and harass . . . I mean catch up with old friends and meet new people. I'll also be taking Coventry with me to the show to get some editing in while I'm in-between things. I definitely want to catch a few of the panels A.C. Crispin and Victoria Strauss are doing about publishing scams.
Got a good deal of work done on Harbinger tonight. Comes out to 1684 words tonight, which isn't a bad night's work. I'm not certain how much work I'll get done over the next few days between company being here and the convention itself, much less if I'll log anything between now and Monday night after the show. We'll just have to play it by ear.
Got my tickets for Dragon*Con tonight. So, I've got plane fare and a hotel room. Just haven't received my guest confirmation yet. (sigh) Now, I need to get my hotel room and airfare to St. Louis for Archon and I'll be squared away for the year. All the other shows I'm doing are in the Balto-DC area. I knew there was a good reason for living around here.
