Coffee and Words

Taking my friend, Greg Cox’s advice, I settled in with a steaming cup of coffee before I started writing. Next thing I knew, I had a cold cup of coffee sitting right next to me as I got into the writing, but I drank it anyway.

Good people, I do not abuse coffee. If I brew it, I drink it. *grin*

Wound up adding another 1350+ words to “On Wings of Steel” tonight as well as spending some time visiting with the family early in the evening. Also, working on some new story ideas, for down the road. The ol’ notebook is crammed with possible ideas, characters and lands I’m going to have to visit one of these days.

That’s one of the cool things about being a writer — exploring new lands and meeting new people. And, if you’re really lucky, you get to share those stories with other people eventually.
