Once more around the forum, boys!

Per the AP:

LOS ANGELES — Charlton Heston, who won the 1959 best actor Oscar as the chariot-racing "Ben-Hur" and portrayed Moses, Michelangelo, El Cid and other heroic figures in movie epics of the '50s and '60s, has died. He was 84.

I thought he'd never die. Wow.... That's downer news. I suppose my brother's going to go off to the rifle range and fire a few in honor now. Me, I'll just go dig out our copy of Ben Hur and see if the VCR still works since we've neglected it after we got DVDs....

Apes as well as infected, light-averse zombies. Sigh. I liked The Omega Man much better than Will Smith's I Am Legend

Charlton was a natch at those epic-caliber stories, wasn't he?
