Blatent Appeal to Vanity

OK, I realize I haven't got a chance in hell of winning, but what the hell. If others can politic for their stories, why not me? *grin*

The PsiPhi awards for excellence in Star Trek Literature are open for voting. You can cast your vote at this site, which is also a great compilation for all the Star Trek literature published in 2005 and 2006. That includes a S.C.E. story written by yours truly - S.C.E. #63 - Echoes of Coventry, which is just waiting for you to come by and vote for it.

No, really, it is.

Go see what you might have missed and go vote.

(Plus, there's some awfully good stuff there by some people named DeCandido, Osborne, Mack, Ward/Dilmore, Gibson, Leisner, Weldon, Black and a host of others. If you want to vote for them instead of me, you won't hurt my feelings none. They're pretty good writers too. *grin*)

Rich, someone can vote for you and me, as we're not in contention against one another. ;)

You're up for best eBook in 2006, I'm up for best short store in 2006. A vote for me isn't a vote against you, and vice-versa. :)

Just wanted to point that out!

Duly noted and done before I even posted my blog.

I highly recommend Allyn's short story, folks. If you haven't read it, shame on you. :p
